The next weekend will be absolutely special! On Sunday, the 1st of December, is Romania’s National Day and we’ll have a lot of surprises for you. As you already got used to, we try to bring a little piece of Romania in our coffee shop and we hope that you feel like home here, with us and our traditional Romanian food 🙂
Menu for 29th of November – 30th of November
For Friday and Saturday you can choose:
- Mashed beans or roe of beans (fasole batuta, fasole facaluita sau icre de fasole) – £4.00
Smoked pork and beans soup, served with red onion (ciorba de fasole cu afumatura, servita cu ceapa rosie) – £6.50
- Fried pork with vegetables (tigaie de porc cu legume) – £7.00
This main meal we’ll be in our menu for the first time, but we believe that it will become one of your favorites. The mix of vegetables, fried with the pork meat, gives a special taste to the final meal. How we like to say, it is Bitelicious.
Also we want to tempt you with some new Romanian sausages, fresh homemade, served with chips (£7.50). Just try them and you’ll be amazing of the traditional taste, so good that you’ll believe that you’re home. Probably this is almost real, because our coffee shop, we like to say, it is a small piece of Romania 🙂
For the dessert, you can choose our apple pie ( £3.00) or…
Our big surprise
Maybe you’ll say that we’re a little bit crazy, but we just care about your desires and your appetite. The result is Muntenian Mucenici (£4.50), which is prepared by boiling traditional handmade dough in water with sugar, cinnamon and crushed walnuts. For more flavor, some lemon zest is added. We know that these should only be made on the 9th of March, but because you’re so in love with this dessert, we decided to satisfy this culinary desire for you on these special days. Moreover, this dessert is suitable for those who are fasting as well.
Furthermore, don’t forget about the other Romanian specialties: Brasovence, fried chicken leg with polenta and homemade garlic sauce, as well as our Bitelicious Papanasi. Also, we added in our menu, polenta with sour cream, cheese and fried egg, as well as Romanian sausages with chips.
Also, we have a large variety of cakes and the unbeatable banana bread or you can choose from our large range of pancakes. Please remember that we also have fresh papanasi (cheese donuts) if you desire
We’ll have all of Romania’s favourite desserts: amandine, savarine and of course our consecrated biscuit salami (salam de biscuiti).
Just step into our Bitelicious Universe and you’ll have a special day
We are waiting for you with a lot of other surprises in our cosy coffee shop to spend some special time together 🙂
