This main meal is a Traditional Romanian one and it has its origins in Dobruja. In Dobruja it is based on different kinds of fish. In the meantime, this dish has been taken over and adapted in other areas of the country. For example in Moldavia and Transylvania, the fish is replaced with smoked meat or in Oltenia with chicken meat.
This weekend we will delight you with a delicious Oltenia stew chicken brine – saramura de pui 🙂
This delicious stew with a lot of vegetables (two kinds of peppers, tomatoes, garlic, parsley) and chicken is served with polenta (mamaliguta) and chili peppers.
We really hope that you’ll enjoy it! In the meantime, don’t forget about the other Romanian specialties: Brasovence, fried chicken leg with polenta and homemade garlic sauce and our Bitelicious papanasi. Also, we added in our menu, polenta with sour cream, cheese and fried egg.
We are waiting for you in our coffee shop to spend together some quality time 🙂
